An official website gains momentum these days as a felt-necessity of the time - a demand-driven and time-released reality. It is the virtual representation of a modern institution. I firmly believe that the website of CMP will open up a new vista for exploring new frontiers of excellence to bridge the gap between the police and the people. it will stand as a buffer between police and the masses by ensuring and enabling atmosphere to dispel age-old misgivings regarding police activities. |

In the age of information super-highway, modern policing cannot afford to lag behind and is undergoing rapid overhauling all over the world. The policing activities are targeted at a prime goal - delivering quality service to the clients and the people. SO, feeding people with required information about policing and inviting their spontaneous opinion on the same are the same are the twin demands of the day. I think the opening of this website will be a leap forward towards that very end. But this launching will be worthwhile only when both its direct and trickle-down effects will reach out to the people. |
